Obituary of Marjorie Ann Chapman

CHAPMAN, Marjorie A. Chapman, Marjorie Ann, age 78, passed peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2025, with her family by her side at the QEII Infirmary, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born November 5, 1946, to Ernest Henry Howlett and Sarah Beatrice Howlett (nee Henderson) in Woodstock, Ontario. Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 47 years, Robert; her children, John, Woodstock, Ontario; Arliss (Rodger) Kraupa, North Wallace, NS and Timmy (Carrie), Lantz, NS; brother, Gary (Cathy), London, Ontario; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy; siblings, Russell, James, Beatrice and Ernest (in childhood); grandson, David Ernest Steele and great grandson, Daxton John Henry Chapman, both in infancy. More often than not, Mom could be found in her sewing room, working on various projects, most often her beautiful quilts, often having one or two different ones on the go at one time. Most of us have at least one of her creations that will be treasured. Mom will be loved and missed by her many friends and relatives from Alberta to Nova Scotia. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that cared for Mom during her stay at the QEII. There will be no funeral service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marjorie’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice We will miss you always and love you forever
