It is with profound sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, Connor Francis Ford MacDonald, age 12.  Connor passed away at home in Central Caribou on December 15, 2018.  Connor was born on August 23, 2006 to Frank and Tanya (Chaisson) MacDonald.  He attended McCulloch Educational Center, Pictou and was in Grade 7.  Besides his parents he is survived by brother, Jordan Chaisson at home; grandfathers, Stanley ‘Papa’ Chaisson, Central Caribou; and Denzel MacDonald, Caribou River; grandmother, Mildred MacDonald, O’Leary, PEI; uncles, Stanley ‘Uncle Bucky’, Ben, Stan, Craig, Robbie and Jamie; aunts, Jay Jay, Helen, Rose, Karen, god mother, Patty Heighton; and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by grandmothers, Debbie (Smith) Chaisson and Diane (Davey) Chaisson; great grandparents, Greta ‘Bammy’ and Louie ‘Poppa’ Smith, Theresa and Zephron Chaisson, Helen and Francis ‘Frank’ MacDonald, Rosealla and Louis McCallum. Connor had a great love for the Army and belonged to the #219 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, New Glasgow, which he was so proud of.  He also loved video games, riding his bike, Nerf guns, swimming, skate boarding, cars and trucks. He attended Camp Pagweak and looked forward to going again this summer. Connor loved to eat “KD” and chicken nuggets. When he grew up Connor wanted to be a YouTube Star and a soldier, to help change the world.  He loved to make people laugh and gave the best hugs. Connor was a ‘Kind-Hearted Kid”, who will be missed by all who knew him.  Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.  Funeral will be held 11 AM Saturday from the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou.  Burial will follow in the Seaview Cemetery.   Family flowers only, please. Donations may be made in Connor’s memory to the Juvenile Epilepsy Foundation or the I.W.K Children’s Hospital.  A trust fund has been set up in Connor’s memory at the Scotia Bank, Pictou. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
