It is with great sadness we say our goodbyes to our loved by all dear brother, Gordon “Gord Boy”.  He was born on September 22, 1956 to the late Roland and Pansy (Brooks) Heron.  He was well known in his hometown of Pictou.  Gordon will be missed by his family and pool buddies.  He leaves behind to mourn his passing sisters, Susan (Tom), New Glasgow; Nancy, Diane, Plymouth; Sandra, Stellarton; brother, Gary, Hamilton, Ontario; nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Grant.  Visitation will be held 6-9 PM on Sunday at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, from where the funeral will be held 2 PM on Monday with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating. Donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
