TREFRY, Lillian F.

TREFRY, Lillian Florence  -83, of Smithfield and formerly of Thorburn, passed away March 4, 2019 in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.  Lillian was born on June 5, 1935, a daughter of the late Margaret (Gerrior) and Clarence Earle.  She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; son, Kenneth (Stella); grandson, Michael Trefry, Trenton; son-in-law, Jim McKinnon; sister-in-law, Claire (Ralph) Foote.  Lillian was predeceased by her daughter, Sherrie McKinnon; and sister, Peggy Roach.  There will be no visitation or service as she requested.  A sincrere thank you to Lillian’s care giver, Emily Parsons, for her kindness and compassion to Lillian, also to Donna Sarson, a special friend and nurse.  Donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the S.P.C.A.  Arrangements are under the direction of McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
