FRASER, J. Dean

Pictou

 

FRASER, James Dean, age 60, of Cedar St., Pictou passed away June 14, 2019 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.  Born in Pictou he was a son of the late Ron & Jean (Smith) Fraser.  Dean was a former employee of Northern Pulp, retiring four years ago, after 37 years service.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  Surviving are his wife, Pauline (Barkhouse); daughter, Terri Murray, Scotsburn; son, Travis Fraser, Fort McMurray, Alberta; daughter, Crystal Fraser, Pictou; step-daughter, Lori-Anne LeBLanc, Loch Broom; five granddaughters; brothers, Barrie (Sandy), Hardwood Hill and Dale (Kathy), Pictou.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Brian.  A public graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday June 17th in Seaview Cemetery, Bayview, with Pastor Duane Phillips of Christian Life Church, Stellarton officiating.  Family flowers only please.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Chemo Room, Aberdeen Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
