Obituary of Bonnie Jean Hale
HALE, Bonnie J.
It is with deep sadness that the family of Bonnie Jean (MacIsaac) Hale announces her peaceful sudden passing at the age of 44 on Tuesday, August 6th 2019 at home. Bonnie was born and raised in Pictou, and had lived in MacLellans Brook and Thorburn, but resided on the Rockfield Road. She leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Ruby Leavitt and Archie Davidson; her loving husband of 25 years, Chad Hale; and her two boys, who she dearly admired, Jesse and Brad; a brother, Chris MacIsaac; her mother- in-law, Carol Nugent; sister-in-law, Jackie Hale and stepsister, Bonnie (Chris Chisholm); brother-in-law, Greg (Jen) Hale; nephews, Ben & Ayden; nieces, Danielle, Michayla, Skylar and Mya; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends whom she considered family. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph MacIsaac; her father-in-law, Art Nugent; her maternal grandparents, Dave & Frances Leavitt; her paternal grandparents, Angus & Esther MacIsaac. Bonnie was one of a kind, she was a jack of all trades and loved keeping busy. She could weld the best pass as she worked at Trenton Works for many years and she was a carpenter by trade. Bonnie decided to change her career and wanted to become a physician, but ended up becoming a Registered Nurse. She was one of the most compassionate loving, caring, and gentle nurses, as a manger with V.O.N. She also worked 811 for seven years, and at the Aberdeen Hospital, in Emergency and I.C.U. The people that had the honor of knowing Bonnie were truly blessed. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A private family service will be held in the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society, or the Alzheimer Society. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
