Brian Stanley Bennett, age 40 of Airdrie, Alberta and Pictou, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 22, 2019 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, NS.  He was the son of John and Jennifer (Corbett) Bennett.  Brian was born June 16, 1979 in New Glasgow. He worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Alberta for the past 20 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed four wheeling, riding his Harley and more importantly, enjoyed fixing things.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa (MacKeigan) Bennett; his two children, son Caleb and daughter Lily; his maternal grandmother, Janet Corbett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Stanley Corbett; maternal grandparents, Harold and Beatrice Bennett.  He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, James MacKeigan.  A public graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday September 29th in the Seaview Cemetery, with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, or a charity of your choice.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
