Lawson and Alice would go on adventures exploring new roads, finding special fishing holes and special times together. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Alice began cooking for the fisherman at the cookhouse at Skinner’s Cove and then went on to cooking for construction companies all over Nova Scotia. After retiring from cooking she enjoyed socializing at Tim Horton’s and playing Bingo. Eventually she would find her home at Glen Haven Manor, where she participated in all social events and outings. The staff at the Manor treated her like family. Alice’s family would like to thank the staff for their care and love given to her during her stay, especially in her final months.
