Obituary of Marie Morais

MORAIS, Florence Marie - age 78, of Sundridge, surrendered her life to God on November 11, 2019.  She passed away peacefully with the love of her life, Greg Morais by her side.  Born on October 26, 1941, Marie lived a full life.  She loved nature and enjoyed her time walking in the woods and tending to her garden.  To the pleasure of her family, she used her many talents, baking, sewing and decorating at home.  She also sold cosmetic and was passionately involved in the beauty industry for over 25 years.  Her family was the greatest joy of her life and her memory will live on with them.  Marie will be greatly missed by her son, Ken (Darlene) Morais, Sundridge; daughter, Kimberly (Donnie) Arsenault, Shubenacadie; grandson, Chris (Brette) Hale, Victoria, BC; granddaughter, Celine Morais, Vancouver, BC; sisters, Linda Simmons, Elora, ON; Joan (Dave) High, Cambridge, ON; brothers, Donald Langille, Cambridge, ON; Kenneth Langille, Cambridge, ON; aunts, Marie Sellers, River John; Catherine MacKenzie, Pictou; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her mother, Lydia; brothers, Charlie and Gary Langille; as well as her beloved cat, “Do”.  Her life will be celebrated with visitation at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou on Nov 14th from 2-3PM with service to follow at 3PM in the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Peter MacDonald officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, NS.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
