We are so sorry to hear of dear Bob’s passing. Our deepest sympathy to you all.
We first met Bob in 1978 at the bank as new comers to Pictou . He met with us and gave us great financial advice. He was a man of integrity and a great role model and mentor in the community that he loved so much and gave generously of his time and talents. His was a life well lived for which we are all thankful for.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences with regard to Bob's passing. You and he were/are great neightours of the highest degree. Enjoyed many occasions with Bob who always was able to have a kind word for all in addition to the teasing and hilarity directed his way. Upon reflection, ha was the epitome of a true, honest and loyal gentleman.Yet another bright star shines in the heavens.R.I.P Bob, you certainly earned it.

To Fay and family,
I knew Bob when I was Area Manager for Scotiabank in the mid eighties. I visited Pictou Branch quite often during that time. It was always a pleasant visit for me. The Branch was so well run under Bob's leadership we talked about everything except Banking. There was always lots to talk about with Bob, from family to hunting, church etc. I truly enjoyed our relationship. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you.

To Faye, Robert, Andrew and Squeeks: This is a tough one. I am so sorry for Bob's passing. I remember when the Marshalls rolled into town and hit the ice for the first time at the old rink downtown. It was the start of a new hockey season. Bob's 3 boys were outfitted with Patterson helmets and the same brand of hockey gloves. Didn't matter if you had the puck or not, if you were within 6 feet of any one of them....down you went. No doubt Bob had a twinkle in his eye watching his boys that day and the many seasons ahead. That same pride he showed for his boys was extended to all players in minor hockey and the community at large. Never once did I walk into the Bank of Nova Scotia where I did not see him weaving his magic with the staff or his clientele. Am sure you all have wonderful memories and stories. Thinking of you all, Barry Wisener
