Obituary of Lorina MacIsaac

MacISAAC, J. Lorina Pictou Island Jennie Lorina MacIsaac born, 19 July 1940. Lorina was raised by her Grandparents Jack and Mary Rankin on Pictou Island. She served in the RCAF as a Medical Assistant. She worked at various Nursing Facilities during her career. Later moving back to Pictou and eventually met and married her soulmate Simon. Her true passion was her family. Lorina loved her gardening and sitting in her Gazebo by the waterfall that her husband built just for her. Lorina and Simon raised four daughters, Dawn (Chris) MacIsaac, Belinda (Kenny) Pothier, Julie Champagne and Lisa (Eddy) MacIsaac. Lorina and Simon had five grandchildren, Samantha and Savannah Champagne, Janel Heighton, Kelsea and Brandon Pothier. Lorina was predeceased by Glen Thompson and her two grandchildren, Lucas and Jenna Champagne. She was adored by her children, grandchildren and loving husband Simon ‘Donald’. Lorina’s family was the focus of her life. She was our best friend. We will miss her greatly. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held.
