Obituary of Belinda Larade

LaRADE, M. Belinda Pictou May 31, 1966 - August 20, 2020 LaRADE, Mary Belinda -54, of Pictou, passed away Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at her home in Pictou. Born in Pictou, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Cecile LaRade both of Pictou. She was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces and also enjoyed her time nursing and hairdressing. As a young girl and teenager, she enjoyed horses and always had a love of playing the bagpipes. She loved music, animals, but most of all her family. Her favourite pastime was spending time & shopping with her two beautiful girls and playing with her granddaughter Kennedy. Belinda was looking forward to the birth of her first grandson, Adrian, in January. She is survived by her loving life partner, Scott MacDonald; daughters, Lyndsey (Andrew) Teed, Pictou; and Lezley (Austin Lewis) LeBlanc, Saint John, NB; her bonus daughter, Skylar MacDonald, Moncton, NB; brother, Stephen LaRade, Pictou; sisters, Darlene Macleod, Pictou; Andrea (Matthew Kaye) LaRade, Norton, NB; and Angela Widen, Sussex, NB. She is also survived by her beloved fur babies, who were a highlight of her life; Cesar, Holly, Lacey, Lily, Mitzy, and Miley. She was also extremely loved and will be very missed by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Besides her father, Belinda was predeceased by her brother, Adam LaRade and sister, Jolene LaRade. Cremation has taken place. A public graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 26th 2020 at 11AM in the Stella Maris Parish Cemetery, Pictou. Donations can be made to the SPCA or the Canadian Lung Association.
