BATTIST, Charles Alvin - age 90, passed away February 24, 2021 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Alvin loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, 4 wheeling and mowing his lawn. Alvin was born November 11, 1930 and was a son of the late Charles and Bessie (MacIntosh) Battist. He is survived by children, Sandra; Dennis (Jean I.); daughter-in-law, Debra; grandchildren, Ronnie, Blair, Jody (Jeremy); sisters, Vera, Audrey, Dorothy; sister-in-law, Jean A. Battist; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Alvin was predeceased by his wife, Lillian; son, Brian; daughter, Patricia; brother, Raymond; sister, Doris; step mother, Rhoda. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Donations in Alvin’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice.
