Obituary of Robert Leo Molyneaux

MOLYNEAUX, Robert L. Pictou/Halifax It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Leo Molyneaux announces his passing after a brief illness on March 3, 2021 at the age of 73. Robert aka ‘Bobby’ will be lovingly remembered by his last surviving family member his sister, Donna Roach. He is also survived by nephews, Troy, Chad and niece, Shelley. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Kevin; sister, Paula and Rosemary in infancy. A lifelong resident of Pictou, he graduated from Pictou Academy before pursuing a welding course at the Vocational school in Stellarton. He then worked at numerous jobs before taking a position at Ferguson’s Industries. He then proceeded to Trenton Works. When they closed he travelled back and forth to Halifax to work at the shipyards, before deciding to move to the city. He was a member for the Royal Canadian Legion for over 40 years before he went to Vimy Legion for a change. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services by request. Donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
