Our sincere condolences George and family, Emma and family.
Lina was a very special lady.
Whenever my family and I would visit from Vancouver, British Columbia we always popped in to see her. My parents, Walt and Eileen Leigh lived nearby. She was a dear friend of my mom's.
She always greeted us with a welcoming smile and baked treats of course.
She will be missed!

Condolences to George and family, Emma and family and extended family. Lina became a dear friend when we moved to Scotsburn in 1999. We had many visits back and forth during the six years we lived in Scotburn. Since that time, we enjoyed many telephone chats and visits when we returned home to Nova Scotia on vacation. Will miss you dearly my friend.
Until we meet again. Eileen & Walter.

Unfortunately we never had the opportunity to meet Lina, but her legendary baking and cooking were always know to us through her fine son George. Lina will be dearly missed by her family in so many ways. A lady that makes both your family and community so proud. May she continue to enjoy what she loved to do best in God's kitchen. Her Angel food cake will likely be the talk of Heaven.
