A great guy with a big heart, my deepest condolences to Donna, Eva, Steven and Melissa and the family. He was a great part of the community and will be missed by all his friends also. We go thru life trying to be the best we can be, and he was.

I am deeply saddened to hear that David has passed. We spent a lot of time together growing up in Bay View. I Have many fond memories. Eva was like a second mom to me back in the day. I wonder what he will be driving in heaven? I was always amazed that he could drive like he did and get any machine to perform. Rest in peace. My thoughts are with you all today.

I was very sorry to learn of David's passing.
I bought my first property from Lawrie and Eva MacKaracher . I built a home on that property and the MacKaracher family were my first neighbours.
Dave and I were close friends. His acts of kindness and his solid attitude towards others will never be forgotten. Dave, Donna and the MacKaracher family were the finest neighbours you could ever wish for.

Eva, Donna and family. I was so shocked to see that David had passed away. I will always remember how good he was to me when I hit the deer on the Causeway and he helped move it from the road as well as to be sure that I was ok and took me to get my rental. All of this and within 2 hours I was back in Pictou and later found out from the car rental that David had dropped back in to be sure that everything had worked out for me. God has another Good Samaritan in Heaven. Thinking of you all and may your many memories help you through the next few months.
