My deepest Sympathy to you all on Edie's passing. I have many fond memories of Edie & the Burke "clan" from my days in Pictou. From the rink ,from the many repairs to my house on Grange St,, from his beating me almost every game of 45's at the Men's Club , to his supplying me with a loaf of bread when I missed the store closing hours , to patching up the Burke boys on a few occasions . Always with a smile & a willingness to help whenever !!!! Pictou will miss Eddie. Be Strong & Stay Safe.

Geraldine and family..... so sorry for your loss. Eddie loved his community and gave his time willingly and faithfully. Remembering when he returned to Pictou Academy. So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. I always enjoyed the many conversations he and I had while having our morning coffee at Subway (only after he finished his crossword puzzle though!). We often talked about when he returned to PA for his high school diploma, how unique it was for him at the time, and how proud he was to be the manager of our high school hockey team. I also worked with him at the shipyard. My deepest condolences to Geraldine and all of Eddie's family.
