Dear Greta and family...
It is so very hard to find the words to describe how we felt when Josh told us that " Gramps " had passed...I think we felt that he was invincible and would somehow make it through this terrible disease...
It was a true honor to know him...and his unending kindness and friendship to our son, Josh will be remembered always..
He was the best of the best ...and he shall be missed.
How lucky we all were to know such a man...even in a small way...as we did...mostly through Josh's stories of him..and how blessed you all were to have him as your husband, father, brother, uncle..grandfather...
our love to you all..
Harry and Heather Smith

So saddened to hear of Ronnie's passing. I first met Ronnie playing against him in the old rural league. He was a tough competitor, but always a true gentleman. We were able to renew our friendship in later years through old timer's hockey, oddfellows lodge, and attending our grandson's hockey games.. I always looked forward to seeing him and having a few laughs at River John days. Our chats always came back to family and fishing and his love and pride of family, especially, could easily be seen in his big smile and sparkle in his eyes as he spoke of each and every one of them. Janet and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to all of Ronnie's family and friends in this time of sorrow.
