“I remember her smiling face, happiness, and her enthusiasm.” As a teenager, I spent most of my time with my two best friends Lincoln and Trevor, and Corlea always treated me as one of her own. When I look back at my childhood, I feel blessed to have had Corlea as a second mom. She wanted us all to enjoy growing up, but as a mom, she was always there to reel us back in when required, which was probably more often than she would have liked (smile). Nevertheless, she provided the guidance needed and endless times of happiness with genuine love to keep us all safe.
I know the years have passed between us, but I truly love my childhood family, and my heart goes out to Kelly, Missy, Trevor, Lincoln and Randy; you have lost someone truly amazing. Still, her memory will live on in us all. Corlea has touched many lives with her kindness and joyful spirit, and she will never be forgotten.
