GAUDET, Robert J.
Pictou
GAUDET, Robert Joseph “Bobby” age 54 of Pictou, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer and other chronic medical conditions. Robert “Bobby” was born November 30th 1967 in Pictou and was a man of many trades. One of his first long term jobs was at the Scotsburn lumber mill before he discovered his true passion of being a truck driver. Many residents of Pictou may remember Bob from his time spent driving a taxi for Alf’s. You could never really guess what he would be up to. It could be fishing, riding his motorcycle, helping others, or spending time with the ones he loved. He took so much joy from helping others whether it be his family, friends, or a complete stranger. Dad was so very proud to have been able to sponsor a child from World Vision for many years. Robert “Bobby” was predeceased by his parents, Leonard Gaudet and Pamela Dalton and his eldest son John Ryan. Bobby is survived by his best friend and dog, Tiny; his two children, Bobby (Julia), Nicky (Corey); brothers and sisters, Paul (Joyce), Pictou; David, BC; Terry, Alberta; Rhonda and Randy, Alberta; Leonard and Dawnifer, Truro; Mary Jean and Eddie, Trenton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private Memorial Service will be held in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou with Fr. Peter MacDonald officiating. Spring burial will be in Stella Maris Parish Cemetery. Donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice.
