Obituary of Mabel Marcella Dorey

DOREY, Mabel M. Bayview DOREY, Mabel Marcella -95, of Bayview, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born on June 13, 1926 in Cape John, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Willow (Langille) Hiltz. She was a devoted wife and loving mother who lived a quiet life, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her would immediately think the world of her. She enjoyed her knitting and word find books. Mabel is survived by her children, Allan Dorey, Arlene Anderson, Marie Dorey, Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Dorey, Lawrence Dorey, and Glen (Cindy) Dorey. She is also survived by sisters, Elsie and Esther, several nieces and nephews, along with her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mabel was predeceased by her husband, Joseph I. Dorey; son, Grandville Bayne; daughter-in-law, Joanne Dorey; and son-in-law, Kenny Anderson; along with brothers, Basil, Carmen, Russell; and sister, Leona. A public graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Monday May 9th in Seaview Cemetery, with Rev. Darlene Jewers officiating. Donations in Mabel's memory may be made to Glen Haven Manor or Seaview Cemetery.
