Obituary of John Charles MacLennan

MacLENNAN, John C. Scotsburn John Charles MacLennan, age 89, of Scotsburn, passed away March 11, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Millsville, he was a son of the late Fisher & Ellen (McCara) MacLennan. He was beloved husband to Ann, father to Colin (Janice), MaryAnn (Laurie) and Darren (Penny), grandfather to Ryan, Kristy, Sydney (Jesse), Thomas, Connor; and brother to Sue. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by brothers, Lloyd and Fisher; and sisters, Marjorie, Mary, Katherine and Julie. He was the foundation of his family and will be forever missed. His sense of humour was second only to his dedication to those he loved. A private family funeral will be held in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating, burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn.
