FALCONER, Alex Three Brooks It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alexander Mackenzie Falconer, on May 21, 2022. Born in Pictou on March 24, 1942, he was a son of the late Ernie and Hazel (McCabe) Falconer of Carriboo Island. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Weatherbie); and children, Kathleen (Dan MacIsaac), Darlene (Steve) MacLellan, Liz (Kent) Clements, and Philip; adoring grandchildren, Andromeda and Callisto MacIsaac; Carly MacLellan; Jennifer (Jason) Buchanan and Alex (Brittany) Daley; Shannon (Luc) Colozza; Rebecca, Rob, Anthony, Miranda &Bree-Lynn Falconer; and much-loved great grandchildren, Alexis, Lucas, Logan, Gracelyn, Ada and Scarlett. He was predeceased by son, Rob; and daughter, Lynn. He is also survived by sisters, Janet, Helen, Emily, and brother, Scott; and predeceased by sisters, Virginia, Alice, and Daphine. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life. He always looked forward to their visits and took great pride in their accomplishments. A lifelong resident of Pictou County he was a man with many talents who could fix most anything. He was a master boat builder, professional fisherman and entrepreneur. He had a work ethic second to none and was generous with his time and knowledge, always supporting friends, family, and community. Alex was larger than life. The family would like to thank Dr Ohson, Dr Van Graan, Dr Horton and the staff of the Emergency and ICU Departments of the Aberdeen Hospital for their wonderful care.
