An Icon is gone from the town and will always be remembered as the whistler. A wave , a smile, a kind gesture and a happy soul who could be seen at any time of day. Receiving a second hand bicycle was a good memory. Ride on Kevin and whistle free. Randy Mansour

Will truly miss seeing my friend around town, listening to his corny jokes and asking me if I was on the right end of Town. His absence is felt throughout Town already and will be forever. Our deepest sympathies to Albert's family and friends and anyone who had the opportunity to know, or just meet, him. May he rest in peace.

Growing up in the Stonehouse I got the see Albert on a daily bases. Lending us a hand when shovelling snow or stoping by to keep us updated on what’s going on downtown. Whenever I was home alone as a teen, it would be a comfort hearing the whistles echo through Water Street into our home, knowing nothing bad would happen if the Whistler was around. And of course a big wave when driving by would be enough to make anyone’s day better. He will be missed by many. My condolences to the family and friends of Albert.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Kevin. We will miss him greatly. When he lived in our neighborhood it was Kevin who always looked out for us and our property. He took time out of his busy day to say hello and tell a few stories. When my Aunt Sophie Poole lived next to him he took such care of her and her needs in the final years. Kevin was always kind to her. Can still hear him whistle down the street which let us know that all was right in the world. Rest in peace Kevin and hope there are many winning scratch tickets in heaven waiting just for you!

I remember as a child one day I was playing with my soccer ball and I asked Kevin if he could kick it as high as me. He gave it a boot so high I could barely see the ball in the air! I was in shock and disbelief of how high it went! Hahah, the ball was never the same after that, I will never forget that day! Good hearted man, he was great around us kids.

We at John’s Bottle depot are saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing, our sincerest condolences to Bonnie, his family and friends.
I’ve only known Kevin for a year and a half through the depot and I like everyone else looked forward to seeing him and listening to one of his jokes and hearing about his life and what he was going to do that day. I will truly miss him.
