Obituary of Kenneth Anderson Henderson

HENDERSON, Kenneth A. River John HENDERSON, Kenneth Anderson -53, of River John, passed away June 30, 2022 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born June 17, 1969 in Halifax, he was a son of Margaret (Parker) Henderson and the late John J. Henderson. Kenneth was a cheerful man, willing to help anyone with any task, especially kind and helpful to his mother, they loved each other dearly. He will be sadly missed by the entire family and his many friends. He enjoyed talking in the evening to his friends. He loved his cat “Mittens”, and also his cat “Guss”, who he found abandoned. He worked for a number of years at carpentry with his friends Ronnie and Randy, and on the oil rigs in Alberta for about 5 years. Kenneth also enjoyed going lobster fishing on the boat. Surviving are his mother, Margaret; brother, Dale (Cindy), River John; sisters, Carol, Ann, Shubenacadie; and Sheila (Richard), Meteghan. A Graveside Service, which is open to all friends and family, will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 5th in Mountain Road Cemetery, River John, with Rev. Greg Dickson officiating.
