Obituary of Sandra Lee Barrett

BARRETT, Sandra Lee (Heron) New Glasgow/Pictou BARRETT, Sandra Lee (Heron) – 59 We are saddened to announce the passing of our youngest sister, Sandra Lee (Heron) Barrett on the 20th of December, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Sandra lost her long and painful battle with pancreatic cancer that she fought with such strength, her two older sisters lovingly did for her what she needed. She enjoyed working at Giant Tiger for many years making many friends and will be greatly missed by her long time friend, Mary Stevens and cousin, Agnes Lamly. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Roland Heron and Pansy (Brooks) Heron; brothers, Grant and Gordon “Gord Boy”; sister, Nancy. She is survived by brother, Gary, Hamilton, ON; sisters, Susan Bowman (Tom), New Glasgow; Diane Aitchison, Plymouth. A private graveside service for friends and family will be held at a later date in Haliburton Cemetery.
