MacKENZIE, Frederick Clyde

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde Mackenzie on December 22, 2022 at age 84. He was born to Eleanor Mackenzie and lived in West Branch most of his life. He married Barbara and they had two sons together- Randy and Robbie. Eventually, he met his special friend Lorraine after the passing of his beloved wife and spent the remainder of his life with her. He was everything you could ask for in a friend and want as a father. He was quick to help anyone he could. He loved fixing things, working on cars, trucking, music, TV, old cars, and a good drink at the end of the day. Clyde is survived by his sons, Randy and Robbie (Susanne); grandson, Ryder; special friend, Lorraine Tattrie; and sister-in-law, Claire Forbes. He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor; stepfather, Ernest Forbes; wife, Barbara; half brother, Wayne Forbes and grandson Sawyer. A graveside service will be held at Hamilton Cemetery, River John on Wednesday, December 28 at 2 pm. Donations in Clyde’s memory may be made to the Hamilton Cemetery.
