Sending our deepest condolences to St. Clair's family. We met him at the Horizon Club playing crib on Monday afternoons and often gave him a lift home when he couldn't make it up the hill. Rest in Peace St. Clair.

Our deepest sympathy to the whole Prest family. Tom and I have such fond memories of our visit to Pictou in 2019. Paula, you and St. Clair were so welcoming, and St. Clair delighted in showing us the sights and places that he loved! His enthusiasm was wonderful!

I went to High School with St. Clair. We all went our separate ways after school was over and mine took me to another Province. I am so glad to see that he had a family and a good life. He deserved all that. RIP. Barb Isenor

I am sorry to hear of St. Clair’s passing. Our friendship goes back to 1970 when I taught with St. Clair and Paula at Antigonish Regional High School. We had lots of fun with a group of young teachers on staff. We cooked many meals together after St Clair finished the night split-shift at St Andrews before the new high school opened in January. He added lots of laughter to our group and provided numerous creative art experiences with his students. Our families remained good friends for many years. His memories live on with our family.

Paula & Family ;
My heartfelt sympathy to you & your extended family on St. Clair's passing. Hard to believe how fast all the years have passed since first meeting him & his late brother Blaine getting off the Moose River Gold Mines bus at Musquodoboit Rural High. Then to get reaquainted in Pictou in 1970 & beyond during the next many years & to realize his committment to the Town was a real privilege . A life well lived. Cherish your many fond memories.

Mr. Prest was my art teacher many, many years ago in Antigonish. I remember him as a happy, joyful and and inspiring teacher who made learning fun . I recollect many of the projects and creations that I made in his classes were the first time I had
ever been introduced to any of those types of mediums such as metal tooling, paper mache and clay.
I have thought of Mr. Prest many times over the years with fondness. I will always remember him as a gentle and kind presence in my early school years. I also attribute to him my continuing love for art in all of its forms.
My sincere condolences to his entire family.
Blessings
