The sudden passing of Hugh Angus Langille, -78 of River John, occurred at home on Sunday January 22, 2023. He was a son of the late Andrew and Gladys (Hislop) Langille of Scotsburn. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Helen. Hugh was employed for many years with Scotsburn Co-op Services Ltd. He was a member of St. George’s Presbyterian Church and the Oddfellows Lodge, River John. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie; stepsons, Brian Clark, River John; Steven Clark, Meadowville; Kevin (Heidi) Clark, High River, Alberta; brothers, George (Nancy), Melmerby; Robert (Edna), Scotsburn; sister, Mary (Allan) Fraser, Scotsburn; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Sunday in St. George’s Presbyterian Church, River John from where the Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Monday with reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Scotsburn. Donations in Hugh’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
