Obituary of Darryl Wayne Clarke

CLARKE, Darryl Wayne Pictou It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darryl on March 22nd, 2023. Darryl was born in London, Ontario on August 2, 1967 to parents, Russell and Emma (Turple) Clarke. Darryl was a true optimist, he always seen the good in everyone. He had a contagious smile and an infectious laugh. His heart was big and he left this earth selfless. Darryl had a close circle of friends always by his side. Our family is so thankful for you all. And of course anyone who knew Darryl, knew they had best be cheering for the Montreal Canadiens, along with the Boston Red Sox and the Miami Dolphins. We hope you’re watching all of the games and dancing with them above. “Life is sweet” as Darryl would say. He is a true angel that gained his wings too soon. It is not goodbye, but see you later. Give ‘big Nanny’ a kiss and keep smiling. He is survived by his parents, Russell and Emma (Turple) Clarke; sister, Leslie (Troy) MacDonald; brother, Dean (Wendy) Clarke; niece, Victoria (Gage) MacNeill and great niece Spencer. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 PM in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A private family burial will take place at the Stella Maris Cemetery.
