I met Gogo in 1963 ,he was a handsome guy dating my favourite pretty aunt Darlene,at Maritime Packers in Caribou. Many times over the next 3 years our path crossed at Caribou, River John and Cape Tormentine before I moved to Ontario in 66. I only ever lived in River John for a short 3 years in 74-77. Aunt Darlene & Gogo remained a constant in my life on trips home to RJ. Even after my aunt Darlene passed I connected if ever so briefly with Gogo at the old Thompson homestead property on festival parade night or on a summer walk by his home. and he would be sitting in his building with the door open. Gone but he will never be forgotten as he will live on in my 6 cousins.❤️

I am so sad to hear of Go Go's passing. I walk by his house almost every day and if I missed a few days and saw him he would say" Have not seen you walking past lately" so guess you could say he kept an eye on me:) Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of such a special man.

Our sincere sympathies to Brian and the entire Family. GoGo was not only a fantastic hockey player but a great guy as well. Loved a joke and a good laugh. Truly a character. I seldom saw him over the past few years but when we did run across each other it was as if we were in contact on a regular basis. He will be missed.
