Such a quiet, gentle man with a dry sense of humour.
Kenny would often say he could take a motor apart and put it right back together. He was the go to man in the community if things needed fixing or welding.
Such a great sportsman and coach over the years... he earned the respect of every young man who played for or against him. Even in a friendly game of washer-toss or darts I always felt sorry for him when he got paired with me because I was so crappy and you knew he was in it to win, lol.
For a man who worked so hard with his hands it gave me goosebumps how he could make those fine fiddle strings sing. what a gift. We are gonna miss Gerald at our get togethers in the garage but his presence will always be with us....as will the moose antlers hanging over Ken's dartboard :D .
Cherish the memories. Our deepest condolences to each and every one of his family.

My heart goes out to Darrell and family, when words cannot be written to express my sorrow that is when you realize how great a person and family Gerald was and was a part of. I'll see you again Coach at the end of my next shift and we will laugh at your dry humor again someday. Hugs to the whole family.

So sorry to hear of Geralds passing. We only met him a couple of times washer tossing at Ken's but he was a nice man.

Gerald was a wonderful fiddle player. His ear for music enabled him to play along with any tune that came up in a music jam-even if he'd never heard it before. That's a rare talent!
