Obituary of Lena Marie Chawner

CHAWNER, Lena M. Pictou CHAWNER, Lena Marie -96, of Sinclair Street, Pictou passed away May 4, 2024 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth & Richard Comeau. She is survived by her children, Dawn (Jim) Young, Jamie Chawner, Marsha McNamara; grandchildren, Candace, Bobby, Brianna, Harmony, Madisyn, Makayla, Josh, Sarah (Richard); great-grandchildren, Ben, Frank, Hope, Elliot, Zavier, Izik, Kyzer, Hannah; sister, Sheila; brothers, Burt, Henry & Johhny. Lena was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1987; her son, Pauly; brothers, Clarence, Rodger, Leander, Raymond, Felix, Ralph, Bobby and sisters, Yvonne, Martina, Cecile. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Wednesday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, from where a private Funeral will be held. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Donations in her memory many be made to the SPCA.
