It is with great sadness the family of James Michael Young announces his peaceful passing on November 11th, 2024 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Germany on June 4, 1954 to the late Matt and Flo Young. Jim was employed in various jobs over the years. He worked doing bodywork in Regina SK, PEI and at Pictou Fiberglass. He also worked at Michelin Tire, Shiretown Home & Auto, and Hector Building Supplies. Jim is survived by his wife, Dawn Young; children, Sarah (Richard) MacDonald, Joshua Young, and Candace MacDonald; grandchildren, Hannah MacDonald and Ben Pask; brothers, Bryan Young and Barry Young; sisters, Debbie Stephenson, Belinda Green, and Faye Young. Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by brother, Brett Young. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou on Friday November 15th from 6-8 PM.
