MADORE, Harold “Hal” Pictou With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harold “Hal” Wayne Madore on November 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving family in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pictou on May 9, 1963 to Catherine and the late Harold Madore. Hal was employed at Michelin Tire in Granton for the last 38 years. His true loves were his family, music, and playing his guitar. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Marie; children, Samuel Madore and Lauren Madore; grandchildren, Layla Madore and Liam Madore; sister, Kimberly VanDenEynden; brothers, Troy Madore and Todd (Tara) Madore; as well as many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank you to the Maritime Odd Fellows Home and the Aberdeen Palliative Team for their care and compassion. A very special thank you to his one on one care ladies that were so wonderful and caring to Hal. Cremation has taken place. Family flowers only please. Donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. There will be a Visitation at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou on Thursday, November 21st from 1-3 PM. A private family committal service will follow. After the visitation everyone is welcome to attend a reception at the Stella Maris Hall.
