To Lola's Family,
We met Lola & Oli when our friends purchased a home across the street from them in Forest Lakes Estates. Oli was the quiet one but Lola would always be the one to have conversation on her way to or from her bingo games. They were both so very friendly and welcoming whatever the occasion. When they decided their time in Florida had come to an end, Eric helped them with the paperwork to make their move back home as simple as possible. To say they were missed then would have been an understatement. We kept in touch occasionally in the years since then but we were truly surprised to learn of her passing; she was a wonderful person and I'm sure will be so very missed by her family. Heaven has gained another angel.

To all of Lola’s family
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. I have many fond memories of Lola growing up in Petit De Grat. I also have beautiful memories of the many years we spent in Forest Lake Estate, Zephyrhills Florida. Their house was just around the corner from ours. We played a lot of cards and Bingo every Tuesday night and the many Saturday night socials. . They were part of Gordon’s team whenever he was in charge of the Saturday night meal. We had lots of fun! May she rest in peace. Que son âme repose en paix!

It was a wonderful gift to have had her as my Godmother for so many years , she never forgot a birthday or a special occasion and always had kind wise encouraging words to share . Her heart and home were always open to everyone.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, Lola. As kids we grew up living across the street from the Egilsson's on Poplar Street. Needless to say, we knew them all quite well including Eula and Bernie when they visited from Cape Breton. The experiences living across the street from them and being at their home was our initial introduction to learning rudimentary French! On behalf of my mother, Elva, and my brother's, Dana and Dale, I extend our condolences to all of you.
