Obituary of Allan James Blaisdell

BLAISDELL, Allan J. Bayview It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan James Blaisdell, age 87, of Division Road, Bayview, NS, on January 13, 2025. Born in Dingwells Mills, PEI, on January 7, 1938, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his nephews, Richard, Alonzo, Kenny, Leonard; nieces, Bernice, Mary, Barb, Robin; many great-nieces, nephews and friends. Allan was predeceased by his parents, Allan and Effie (Lutz) Blaisdell, brothers, Alonzo ‘Lonnie’, Felton, Francis, Duncan, Roderick, Roy; sisters, Rose, Mary, Sarah; nephews, Ricky, Leonard; nieces, Linda and Irene. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at his request. A committal service will be held at Old Dundas Acorn Cemetery, PEI, at a later date. Donations in Allan’s memory may be made to Lung Cancer Canada. Death leaves a heart ache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.
