Obituary of Leroy Herbert Marshall

MARSHALL, Leroy Herbert -78, Pictou.  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leroy Marshall on July 16, 2018 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.  Born in Earltown, he was the son of the late Edna Marshall and Willard MacDonald (The Hermit).  He is survived by his sister, Louise Cavanaugh, Truro.  Leroy worked most of his life in the woods, he loved the outdoors and also loved to dance.  Whenever there was an old time dance you could find Leroy there.  He will be remembered for his kind and generous heart.  Funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou with Rev. Jim Shaffner officiating.  Burial will be in Earltown Village Cemetery.  Donations in Leroy’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care or a charity of choice.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
