We are very sorry to hear of Walters passing. Walter & I(Gerard) shared many good times together, in our early years. He was always in a good mood, I can’t say that I ever seen Walter without a smile on his face! I don’t think he had an angry nerve in his body, such a fun guy to be around.

No words can say what it feels like to loose a brother a son a father a uncle ,cousin and friend. Walter Allan was sweet loving caring and always had a smile for anyone who knew him. I have one memory that plays over and over in my head and I wanted to share it ...
One summer when I was hanging at my cousin s house Walter Allan's parents Uncle Walterand Aunt Eileen's they were having a bbq it was late and dark. Walter Allan asked I'd I wanted some of his steak and of course sure so we went to the picnic table in the yard and he passed me what I could assume paper posts he even cut the steak up for me I remember taking my first bite and thinking taste good but had a weird taste so when he started giggling I said what dis you do he said wait and turn on the flash light to find what I would want my steak to be well done Walter Allan liked his rare and flash light on and I seen his sweet loving smile which now had a little laugh with it as i looked down on the plate to see a steak that i would assume did two flips on the grill and flopped into his plate. Needless to say I spit it out and he passed me his can of pop and I drank every drop. He hugged me and said get into the house before Denise (his sister) missed curfew.
I dont know why this memory keeps replaying in my mind maybe its because it showed his silliness and smile but also his caring and sharing nature that we who knew him well knew he had. I had many more memories with Walter Allan babysitting Dylan and pam wonderful times that will be forever etched jn my heart mind and soul. I loved you like my brother and will miss you until we meet again..so
