I was shocked to see this picture this evening. I have not seen Bryan nor Lara or Kenny in many years. You likely wont even remember me but I worked for him for a few years and was always treated very well. It was always poor Kenny who the crappy jobs.lol
He was a kind man, always had work when i needed it. Thinking of you at this time.

We were away and did realize how ill Brian was. We talked to him early in the spring and he was up beat and ready to get into the CEMO treatment. Found out from a neighbour that he had passed away and was shocked as Brian always seemed so fit. I am an old pucker and was Brian’s banker when he was a business owner. We are so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing and Donalda and I are thinking and praying for you. In sympathy Jerry and Donalda McGuire

My best memories of Bryan go back to when I joined the Carlsberg old timers(now Pictou Oldpuckers) hockey team in 1986(the first hockey team I ever played for). I had a lot to learn about the game and a lot of friends to learn from, one of whom was Bryan.
Fortunately I am able to still be playing hockey several times a week.
I remember Bryan picking up a loose puck in our end of the ice and he’d start up ice, many times to be pressured by opponents and he’d turn back and skate all the way back behind our net, building up speed and heading up ice again shucking and jiving all the way to the opponents net and then scoring a goal. I remember thinking”That was a lot of skating”and wondered if there wasn’t a better way.
To this day, every time I do the same thing, I smile to myself and think of the smooth skating Bryan who left his mark on my hockey game.
I’ll miss him for sure.

I had the pleasure to play with and against Brian for a number of years until his move to his old stomping grounds. I always enjoyed his east coast humour. He will be missed dearly.

So glad I got to see Bryan in December 2018 on his way back from Florida with his wife and their friends Philip and Eileen. I worked with Bryan at Michelin in Pictou and always felt a warm relationship between a Newfie and a Cape Bretoner. He will be missed and I am sad tonight... he was a good man.
