My heart is reaching out to all the family in much sadness for their loss of Treen. I was so blessed to have Treen, Cathy, Chris, Andy and my bestie Tracey as my second family growing up. We spent many dinners and birthday celebrations and vacations together. I will always remember Treen’s infectious laugh! My heart is reaching out to you and I’m sending the biggest hugs until I can give you one for real! I have so many fond memories and keep yours close to get through the days ahead! Grief leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves memories no one can steal. Sending lots of love! Pam

Uncle Treen, you will always be remembered no matter what. From your one liner “Hey Kid,” and tteaching me to “swing a club.” Which was a epic fail I should add. Your kindness will forever be with me. Rest for now until we meet again.
Aunt Cathy and Family I”m thinking of you all.

Our hearts are filled with tremendous sadness with the loss of such a wonderful man. Treen was always there as a supportive, caring and loving brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. His “can do” attitude was infectious as he tackled problems from a positive approach. He was always there to help and lend a hand. We are so proud to be part of his family. My children and I will always hold his memory firmly in our hearts. Our love goes out to his beloved wife Cathy, his children Chris, Andy, Tracey and grandchildren.
Deanna Hughes (sister-in-law), Christina Garrett(neice) and Adam Garrett (nephew).

Dear Cathy.
Our deepest condolences.
Volunteered with Treen on the golf course as Rules Officials. He was such a character and a joy to work with. He was passionate about so many things and always had interesting stories. Your years of travel and living on the road generated a lot of them. Im sure Treen created a lasting memory for myself and he will often come to mind when I’m on course. I share in your grief.

My sincere condolences to the family. I met Treen in person, a few years ago, through Andy, his son and my best friend, at Tim Hortons in Coldbrook. After that encounter, they took me in their family and made me feel one of them. We spent many times together, celebrating birthdays, Christmas, just weekends in New Glasgow, where he lived with his lovely wife Cathy, surrounded by his other family members. I will never forget Treen and all the memories he left behind. Sorry for the loss of such a great soul. May the Lord brings peace to the ones who deeply will miss him and take him with Him in Heavens. Till we meet again. ❤️❤️❤️

To the Garrett family
I've often wondered where you all went. I went to school with all 3 children when you lived in Hedgeville. I did not know your dad, but my heart goes out to childhood friends. If any of you wish to contact me, I'd love to hear from you. Faith Heighton on FB, your friend Faith Sutherland.

To Cathy and Family: I was very saddened to learn of Treen’s passing. We’ve known each other off and on since we were teens, as we lived in the same general neighbourhood and went to the same school. We also both worked for Michelin Tire at the Granton and Waterville plants. In retirement, we reconnected through the Michelin Retirees and Friends Bowling League. I know your hearts are breaking, but may remembering the good times comfort you.
