Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In Loving Memory of Robert 'Ian' Langille This is me! January 12, 1966 Pictou, Nova Scotia September 19, 2024 New Glasgow, Nova Scotia After a too short battle with cancer. Born to Robert and Constance Langille Ian was a loving, caring person. Always ready to help out when needed. He spent most of his adult life in BC with his husband Ron, after living in NB and northern Ont. working the retail life. He loved his jobs, however at times customers could be a challenge.. He worked at Buckerfields and Rona while in BC. After various positions at Rona he ran the Install Desk for various jobs and finished in Kitchen Design and Installation before moving back to Nova Scotia with his husband Ron, who had retired that year. Ian worked part-time at Kent to live a semi-retired life style. He loved walking on the beach or the trails through the parks. Was an avid gardener and liked doing home renovations. He attended art college in Halifax, but found it was not for him. He said to me, “I just wasn’t as good as I thought I was”. But get him to design a display in the store and none could beat him. He had a flair for knowing what to put where and why.
