Audrey was my best friend, Verna’s, Mom; a pillar of her community, a warm hearted loving soul, amazing mother and grandmother and a wonderful friend to all who were blessed to know her. She sat at our table numerous times at Christmas and would always come with a delivery of her delicious shortbread cookies packed perfectly into a Christmas can. I looked forward to those every year! Her girls, Verna and Jan, had many matching PJ parties and shopping get aways and Audrey was always up for the adventure. She will forever hold a special place in my heart and in my memories.
